With the aid of the latest lake survey and lake valuation technology
it is now possible to carry advanced sonar and underwater
surveillance equipment on a relatively small inflatable craft which,
for the first time, has made it possible to survey lakes of only an
acre right up to our biggest reservoirs , from a depth of just 1
metre to over 500. Most of the lake survey computer hardware is
carried on our vehicles and data is received via transmitters onboard the boat. All of our boats are powered either by conventional oars or, on the larger lakes, electric outboards. Disruption is therefore virtually eliminated and there is no risk to existing stocks whatsoever. ***See below for the latest addition to our service
These lake surveys and lake valuations can provide vital data concerning fish stocks, silt and bacterial analysis for both the existing owner and potential site buyers. It is difficult to imagine how venues can manage without utilising this service at least once every few years as the information gathered is essential to the health of both fish and their environment. Accurate analysis is therefore possible without the damage that can often be caused by draining the lake and destroying the mature environment. Complete contour mapping and species behaviour analysis are also available. Accuracy is an impressive +/- 3% *** With the aid of cutting edge technology we can now offer a bankside survey via microwave linked digital and analogue sonar with the results displayed on our laptops. The entire survey can be recorded on CD for future reference, showing contours, silt layers and temperature activity via thermocline readings as well as fish movements and species ID. This new technology completely eliminates any disturbance and we do not even need to get on the water ! Prices vary a great deal depending on lake size, location etc, but most surveys can be completed in a day. This service is especially invaluable if you are interested in purchasing a venue as we can provide an accurate assessment of stock levels, value and condition depending on the type of report you require. A full venue analysis is also available complete with bank presentation portfolios to aid finance etc.
